REGISTER TO VOTE

DEADLINE to REGISTER:
Michigan allows same-day registration, but only at your Township Clerk's office.
Township Clerk: same-day registration
County Clerk: 15 days before the election
Secretary of State: 15 days before an election

APPLICATION: You may register by mail or in person by submitting a completed Voter Registration Application (Form ED-121) to your township clerk.
Registrations are also accepted at all Secretary of State Branch Offices.
REQUIREMENTS: You must show proof that:

You are a U.S. citizen,

You will be at least 18 years old by the next GENERAL election (3 November 2020),

You are resident of Michigan, and

You are a resident of the city or township where you are applying to register to vote.
