Antrim Area Women Dems and Friends

Welcome to the Antrim Area Women Dems and Friends

We are a group of women and men who meet to educate ourselves about issues of interest at the local, state, and federal level.   We believe that knowledgeable citizens make well-informed decisions at the polls.

We meet monthly except December, January, and March.  Our meetings are in the middle of the month and held at a local restaurant at noon.  In an effort to be inclusive, there are no dues or application process to join.  See the events section for current activities.

Most meetings include a program with speakers who have included Congressman Bart Stupak, Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth A. Weaver, Judge Deborah Thomas, Michael Moore, and several local officials and agency representatives.

2010 Officers:

Bev Isenbarger, Chair

Marilyn Cobb, Vice-Chair

Nancy Thompson, Secretary-Treasurer
